SAN FRANCISCO LANDMARKS TO VISIT AT NIGHT

Visiting Battery Spencer at night gives the best nighttime views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Be prepared for a short walk in the dark to get to this viewpoint.

The Palace of Fine Arts is a favorite destination for picnicing and photo shoots in the morning. At night, you can enjoy calm views of the Palace lights reflecting over it's reflecting pools.

Lombard Street is known as the "crookedest" street. There are no crowds and easy parking at night. If you want to drive your car down the windy S-bends, post sunset is the time to do it.

4. Painted Ladies

The Painted Ladies are the row of houses, commonly reffered to as the "Full-House" houses. Alamo Park is open until midnight. Take a relaxing stroll here and  enjoy SF's night skyline.

5. Bay Lights

When night falls, the San Francisco Bay Bridge comes to life with an LED light show. What started as a temporary art installment by Leo Villareal, the SF Bay Lights now became a permanent fixture. 

The Ferry Building is an iconic SF landmark that's is a marketplace of small businesses, restaurants and cafes. 

Ghirardelli Square is open late for you to enjoy it's famous chocolates and ice cream sundaes. There are also plenty of small shops, though they may close by 9.

8. Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks is open until 12 AM, with free admission and parking. It's where you would find that iconic SF view. 

9. 16th. Ave Tiled Steps

The tiled steps is a public art installation and functional steps. Take a walk to the top and you will be rewarded with amazing San Francisco views.

10. Grandview Park

At the top of the Tiled Steps is Grandview Park. It's open until 12 and has a bench for you to relax and enjoy the views.
